Worlds I Build

I make worlds—sometimes tiny and handcrafted, sometimes sprawling, moving, or digital—but always with curiosity, emotion, and intention. My work explores emotional landscapes, dream scenarios and pattern recognition. Often musically inspired.

I primarily work in: oils, pastel/ charcoal, ink/ acrylics, digital illustration, and mixed-media found/ scavenged items, but also have 4+ years of experience in set design/ fabrication.

Additionally, I take commissions creating album artwork, book illustrations, invitations, prints, installations, and experimental pieces.

Philosophy

I’ve always been obsessed with world construction. From simulation games to fantasy literature, costumes, and daydreaming. There is no “real world,” that is to say, it’s all real. If you can sense it, if it brought a tear to your eye, if it gave you chills, it might as well be real.

My process for world development is often kinetic and wide casting. I look in and out for clues, and I play what lands close to heart.

Professional Work

Set building, toy design, and content creation for children, developing projects that are tactile, explorative, and rooted in learning through experiementation. I’ve led creative direction, production design, and fabrication for high-impact media, including Nick Jr.’s Toymation, Netflix Jr. and Teleflora, and branded content for Indeed and PepsiCo, designing hands-on sets, miniature worlds, and engaging visual experiences. These projects balance fun, accessibility, and education while maintaining a high standard of visual storytelling and craftsmanship.

Collaborative Commissions

My commission work is rooted in conversation, not crowdsourcing. I lead the creative direction while staying closely in dialogue with each client, shaping ideas into cohesive visual work that is both intentional and expressive. The process allows space for exchange and discovery, but is guided by a clear artistic vision and strong sense of craft.

Commissions often become artwork for band merchandise and album releases, book illustrations, invitations, editorial pieces, website assets, apparel, posters, and printed matter of all kinds. Each project is designed to be distinctive, functional, and emotionally resonant—built to live both as an object and as part of a larger narrative.

I also create one-of-a-kind pieces for private spaces: works made simply to exist in a room, to hold atmosphere, memory, or quiet presence.
